Martin Luther King's dream, as well as the hope for peace between nations and well-being for all, remains unfulfilled. Despite the progress made towards racial equality and justice, discrimination, racism, poverty continue to exist in our society and the system is unable to remedy so much so that the situation worsens quickly. Likewise, conflicts and wars between countries continue to plague the world. It is clear that the pursuit of these ideals will be long and difficult, but it is a struggle that must continue so that the sacrifice of those who started this process is not in vain.
